Everything is backed up. Everything is visible.

The trust story behind SpliceRun, in detail — what’s actually running under the hood, and how you can see it for yourself. If something here isn’t proven yet, we say so.

Isolated by design

Every customer gets an isolated, sandboxed container and network — not a shared instance with other customers’ workflows sitting next to yours. Your database is a separate database and role, never a shared table.

Illustrative — the actual dashboard isn’t public yet, but this is exactly what it will show.

Backups, and what happens if you ever leave

Every plan gets daily backups you can restore yourself, and your dashboard always shows exactly when the last one ran — not a vague “we back up regularly” promise. The optional Protected add-on layers on hourly replication to a live standby, designed so a main-server outage doesn’t have to mean your workflows stop.

Support can’t see your instance unless you let them in

We don’t have standing access to any customer’s instance by default. Access is granted per support ticket, with a checkbox you control, and it’s automatically revoked when the ticket closes — not an unaudited permanent backdoor.

Ticket #4821 access Granted
Ticket #4821 closed Access revoked

Illustrative — how ticket-scoped access is designed to work.

Built for non-experts

No Docker, no SSH, no YAML files. If you can fill out a web form, you can launch and manage an n8n instance on SpliceRun.

Retention windows, stated plainly

7 days

Restore window after suspension for non-payment (after a 3-day grace period first)

30 days

Reactivation window if you voluntarily cancel and change your mind

60 days

Final outer bound before your data is permanently deleted

We never silently throttle or reset a resource-constrained instance either — you get a nudge to upgrade, not a surprise.

We tell you upfront what you can and can’t do

Each tool we host comes with its own licensing terms — n8n’s, for example, has real, documented limits on multi-tenant hosting. We stay inside them deliberately — and we’d rather explain that plainly than have your account frozen by surprise months later. If a rule affects how you can use your instance, it’s written down somewhere you can actually read it, not buried in a ToS.

If SpliceRun ever shuts down

Every customer gets a full backup plus the standard open-source runtime for whichever tool your instance runs, so you can self-host it elsewhere. Everything we host is open-source software — this costs us nothing to promise, and it’s a real anti-lock-in commitment, not a marketing line.

Not affiliated with the tools we host

SpliceRun is an independent hosting provider. We’re not an official product, partner, or reseller of n8n or any other tool we host — we just run them reliably and are upfront about that, rather than implying an official status we don’t have.

Questions about any of this?

We’d rather explain it directly than have you guess.
