Privacy Policy

We don’t track you for advertising, and we don’t sell your data. This page explains, plainly, what we collect, why, and who we actually share it with.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, billing details, provided at signup.
• Service data: the workflows, credentials, and data you store inside your instance. This is yours — we don’t inspect it except when you grant us temporary, ticket-scoped access for support.
• Usage/technical data: basic server logs (IP, timestamps, resource usage) needed to operate and secure the infrastructure.
• Support communications: anything you send us via email or a support ticket.

We don’t run visitor-tracking analytics or ad pixels on this site.

How sign-in works

Our dashboard uses Better Auth — an open-source, self-hosted authentication library. This means your credentials and session tokens are processed and stored entirely on our own servers. No third-party authentication service (Auth0, Clerk, Firebase Auth, etc.) receives your password or issues your session. Passwords are hashed using Argon2id before storage and are never transmitted to any external party.

Why we collect it

To provision and run your instance, bill you correctly, back up and restore your data, respond to support requests, and meet our own legal/security obligations (fraud prevention, abuse handling).

Who we actually share it with

A short, named list — not a sprawling ad-tech chain:

Our infrastructure/VPS provider	Hosts your instance and its data
Our payment processor	Handles billing; we don’t store your full card details ourselves
Google Workspace	Our business email — support communications pass through it

This table will be updated with specific named vendors as our infrastructure and billing setup is finalized.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email privacy@splicerun.com. If you’re in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request for business customers.
