Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

SpliceRun is currently operated by Ajit Tiwari as a sole proprietor (a dedicated business entity is planned as the service grows). These Terms govern your use of SpliceRun’s hosting service at splicerun.com. By signing up, you agree to them.

1. What we provide

Managed hosting for workflow-automation tools — n8n today, with more tools planned over time. Each customer gets an isolated instance (container, network, and database) provisioned and maintained by SpliceRun. SpliceRun is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of n8n GmbH or any other tool we host — we independently host open-source software.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use your instance for illegal activity, to send spam or malware, to attack or scan other systems, or in any way that violates the license terms of the software we host on your behalf. Each account is for a single tenant’s own use; login credentials to your instance may not be shared as a way of reselling access to multiple end-users without a separate, properly licensed arrangement.

3. Fair use, not execution metering

Plans are priced by resource tier, not by workflow execution count. We reserve the right to reach out about a fair-use adjustment if an instance consistently runs far beyond its tier’s normal range, but we will never silently throttle, suspend, or reset your instance without contacting you first.

4. Billing, payment, and grace period

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. If a payment fails, you have a 3-day grace period before your instance is suspended, and a further 7-day window after suspension to pay and restore access before any deletion begins. See our Cancellation & Data Policy for the full retention schedule.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard, no contract or minimum term. If you’re an EU consumer signing up for immediate service activation, you consent to that immediate start and, correspondingly, waive the standard 14-day cancellation right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Art. 16(m)) as part of checkout — a common, disclosed mechanism for instant-provisioning services like this one.

6. Data ownership and export

Your workflows, credentials, and data are yours. You can export them at any time while your account is active, and you retain access to backups through the retention windows described in our Cancellation & Data Policy even after you leave.

7. If SpliceRun shuts down

If we ever discontinue the service, every active customer will receive a full backup of their instance and the standard open-source runtime needed to self-host it elsewhere, with reasonable advance notice.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpliceRun’s liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data beyond our stated backup/retention commitments above.

9. Changes to these terms

We’ll notify active customers by email before any material change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
