Cancellation & Data Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Stated upfront, not buried in a ToS: exactly what happens to your instance and your data at every stage, from a missed payment to full account closure.
If a payment fails
- Day 0–3: grace period. Your instance keeps running while we retry payment and notify you by email.
- Day 3: if payment still hasn’t gone through, your instance is suspended (stopped, not deleted).
- Day 3–10 (7-day window): pay the outstanding balance and your instance is restored, exactly as it was.
- After day 10: the instance and its data may be permanently deleted.
If you cancel voluntarily
- Cancel anytime from your dashboard, effective at the end of your current billing period — no early-termination fee.
- You can export your workflows and data at any point before or after cancelling, within the retention window below.
- 30-day reactivation window: change your mind within 30 days of cancelling and we’ll restore your instance from backup.
- 60-day outer bound: after 60 days total, your data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Why these specific numbers
A common complaint about budget hosting providers is data getting deleted after a short, unclear grace period following a missed payment. We publish ours plainly, and give real time to fix a lapsed card or change your mind — because that’s the honest version of “cheap and trustworthy,” not just “cheap.”
EU 14-day cancellation right
Because your instance is provisioned instantly on signup, EU consumers are asked to consent to that immediate start at checkout, which under EU law (Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m)) means waiving the standard 14-day cooling-off cancellation right for that specific instant-activation service. You can still cancel anytime afterward under the terms above — this only affects the first 14 days.
