Two-factor authentication is mandatory, not optional
One Agency login can reach many different clients’ automations, which makes it a much higher-value target than a single Starter account. So 2FA is required on every Agency account, along with activity logging of exactly which client instance was accessed and when. This is the one place we don’t leave a shortcut available — even if you’d prefer to skip it.
Handing a finished automation to your client
When you’re ready to hand ownership to your client, we provision a brand-new instance under their own direct SpliceRun account and migrate the workflows over — we never hand over login credentials to your existing instance. This isn’t extra friction for its own sake: it’s what keeps the transfer clearly on the right side of n8n’s own licensing terms, automatically, without anyone having to remember a rule under deadline pressure.
